Ambition: To be a good wife and have a large family

I have been working for Jobforce Wales for just over 8 years. I have worked on the Smart Project for 7 years and i have been managing the project since January 2010. Before starting with Jobforce I worked in the catering and retail sector for 7 years after leaving school. I find my job a challenge and a pleasure and I thoroughly enjoy coming to work every day. The best part of my job is seeing the postitive chages in the young people and how far they have come by the end of the year.

 

Kay Robinson

Age: 39

Hobbies: Reading, walking my dog and spending time with my family.

Likes: Chocolate and David Beckham.

Dislikes: Snakes and heights

Ambition: To survive until retirement!!

I worked for 6 years as a nanny before having children of my own. Then worked in the SEN department at Ysgol Y Gwendraeth for 7 years before moving into the behaviour support department where I worked for 5 years.

 

Jock (Richard Adler)
Age: 42
Hobbies: Football & powerlifting (out of retirement in both), ghost hunting
Likes: Sports cars and nice people
Dislikes: Large spiders and not so nice people
Favourite music: Soft rock, 80's

Ambition: To be successful and happy

I worked at the Pwll Unit from 1994 - 1997, I later joined the Youth Services running Morfa and Penyfan Youth Clubs. I have been with the Smart Project from day-one and I am now in my 9th year and still loving it!

Mark Evans

I have been with the Smart Project since 2004, having worked at Calsonic for 20 years previously. I coach football at a local level and also the Sports Leadership Course within the Smart Project.

Gordon Craig
Age: 48
Hobbies: Football, art & history
Likes: Liverpool FC & visiting London
Dislikes: Cows (they hunt in packs) & bullies
Favourite music: Queen, Supertramp

Ambition: To work and live in London

I joined the Smart Project after completing various courses with Jobforce Wales. My career has been varied from working on a Golf Course to working in the Retail sector. For several years I worked in a nightclub as a doorman and as a security guard.

Sian Atkinson

Age: 34

Hobbies: Reading, running, scuba diving

Likes: Flowers, food and fun

Dislikes: Boredom

Favorite music: Blue grass, dance and S Club 7

Ambition: To travel the world in my private yacht

I have been working as a basic skills tutor with the Project for 4 years and I also work at the Carmarthen Smart Project also delivering basic skills.

Angharad Davies

Age: 23

Hobbies: playing sports, listening to music, spending time with my family and my dog.

Likes: eating out, chocolate, going to music concerts and David Beckham

Dislikes: Heights and spiders

Favourite music: a biot of everything.... i.e Tiesto, Pink and Kasabian

Ambition: to be a successful youth worker, to ehlp and support as many young people as i can and to own my own house.

I was a barmaid during my time at university. I have been with the youth service for 4 years working in various different settings and enjoyed it all. I am enjoying working at the project and with the team.

Charis Sebastian

Age: 23

Hobbies: spending time with my young family

Likes: chocolate and Danny Dyer

Dislikes: spiders and sports

favourite music: RnB and Hip Hop

Ambition: to get a degree in youth work and own my own house.

i have ne recent work history, i am working on the project on work placement from Jobforce Wales, i was previously a stay at home mum.

Members of the team are also trained in NVQ Assessing/Verifying, counselling to Diploma level, basic first aid, health and safety vetting and monitoring, catering, retail and customer service, basic drugs awareness and 2 star canoeing.
